Hi Harry. I am always open to advice. =) I am totally new to this blogging thing and have no clue what I am doing, how to promote it, how to do blog rolls.. etc. I am trying to learn. =)

OK here goes, you need a search box at the top, you will find it in widgets in dashboard just drag it over to the sidebar.

Limit the TOTAL number of categories and tags to ten, after that, the search engines think your spamming.i would use more than two categories.

Are you linked to the search engines ?

How do I change the categories and tags? Do you mean on each post?

I am not sure if I am linked to search engines?

Sad to say each post has to be done.
Click edit on a post, that will take you to dashboard, on the r/h side you will see in a large box, with ticks at categories, un-tick the ones you don’t want.
Below that you will see a list of your tags with a red X beside them, tick the X of the ones you don’t want.
When thats all done up-date the post, onto the next one.

Go to dashboard, tools, available tools, Webmaster Tools Verification.

There are 3 google, yahoo, bing ( which may not work ) get youe blog URL and then click one and follow through. Post the code they give into THEIR box, when finished, save.

Go to dashboard, links, all links, delete them all but, support and du learning aboard unless you want others.

You will see add new link, click it, at the top line write in a blog name you want to add/link to, and then the second line paste the blogs URL. Tick the tiny blogroll box and save thats it. Tell the person they are in your blogroll and ask them to put you in theirs, you will get hits.
